Would this indicate an injection pump failure, and would the best solution to be just bypass the system entirely? Why would the injection pump affect the VSC and traction control systems? Pull it out until you hear it click once and that is 4wd. Pull it out further until you hear the second click and that is 4lo.

To complicate it, these lights come on together at the same time but a lot less frequently: 4Lo (flashing) and Check Engine (solid). If the first set of lights have come on 50 times in the last two months, the 4Lo and Check Engine have only come on 5 times total.

I tried to get use to it and use it and then my dash lit up like a xmas tree. What I did- put it in neutral on flat level ground, hit the 4wd button and now I have three lights blinking at me- 4hi 4lo and center locking diff. Drove it slow, forward, reverse, hit 65, drove it 10 miles, shifted through all the gears and NOTHING has changed.
